Lazy Dynamics will be participating in the 5th International Workshop on Active Inference (IWAI 2024) , taking place from September 9th to 11th in Oxford, UK. Our founders, Bert de Vries, Dmitry Bagaev, and Bart van Erp, will be sharing their latest research and developments in the field of active inference.
Bart van Erp will be presenting on Online Structure Learning with Dirichlet Processes through Message Passing.
This work introduces a novel method for online structure learning within reactive message passing, specifically designed to address the dynamic nature of environments and the inherent uncertainty they present.
Dmitry Bagaev will be updating attendees on our RxInfer
toolbox, which is designed for reactive Bayesian inference. In addition, Dmitry will outline the future direction of Lazy Dynamics, including plans for an enterprise version of the toolbox — RxInfer Pro
. This new version aims to bring enhanced functionality and scalability for professional and industrial applications.
Among others, Professor Bert de Vries will accompany his students from BIASlab , who will also be presenting their research on active inference. Their contributions will further underscore the innovative work being done in this dynamic field.
Lazy Dynamics is looking forward to engaging with the active inference community, exchanging ideas, and discussing potential collaborations. We welcome all attendees to connect with us during the event.
See you at IWAI 2024!
